This mortise lockset is crafted from smooth iron, with a flat black appearance reminiscent of Early American styling. The lockset is designed for residential doors where a handle is required on both exterior and interior. Includes two handles, mortise lock, cylinder, rose, and thumb turn.

  • Designed for 1¾" doors only; call our toll-free customer support to order differing widths.
  • Also available with double-cylinder (key operation on both sides) by special order; call toll-free customer support.

This lockset is a top quality product, and is larger and heavier than it looks in the pictures. It is quite solid, and the finish is a beatiful flat black (not shiny or mottled, and there is no color variation). It is ergonomic even for larger hands - this is no lightwieght garden fence handle! I installed this with the attached deadbolt (comes with the mortisse) into one leaf, and the dummy handle on the other leaf of a pair of salvaged doors from Italy. And wha-la! REAL NICE!!
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
